METAL EXCHANGE BUCURESTI SRL is a company with extensive experience in the Romanian metal scrap market.

Since our inception, our mission has been to provide high-quality services to our partners and collaborators. As a result, we have established ourselves as a key player in Romania’s metal scrap market, particularly in the collection and recycling of scrap.

We engage in a wide range of activities, including the collection of scrap metal from industrial processes, demolition, and dismantling, as well as recycling scrap metal from households. With both inland and shore-based facilities, we are well-equipped to export scrap to various partners across Europe, Turkey, and North Africa.

Services

Our company offers the following main services:

  1. Purchase of Steel and Non-Ferrous Scrap from Households (Individuals):

    • Direct purchase at our depots in Bucharest
    • Collection using our trucks equipped with cranes from clients' locations.

  2. Collection of Steel and Non-Ferrous Scrap from Industrial Production:

    • Collection at our depots in Bucharest
    • Provision of specialized scrap storage containers (30 cubic meters) for easy loading onto trucks, or
    • Use of our trucks equipped with cranes for on-site collection from clients' locations.

  3. Collection of Steel and Non-Ferrous Scrap from Demolition and Dismantling:

    • Provision of specialized scrap storage containers (30 cubic meters) for easy truck loading,
    • Use of our trucks equipped with cranes for direct collection from clients' locations,
    • Deployment of specialized teams for dismantling large structures, or
    • Provision of heavy-duty loading equipment (Fuchs type) with a capacity of up to 300mt/day.

  4. Collection of Steel and Non-Ferrous Scrap from Other Authorized Collectors:

    • Collection at our depots in Bucharest 
    • Collection at our port terminals in Agigea,
    • Provision of specialized scrap storage containers (30 cubic meters) for quick loading onto trucks, or
    • Use of our trucks equipped with cranes for direct collection from clients' locations,
    • Direct delivery to our partner steel mills across Romania.

Other Services:

  • Selective collection of packaging waste and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) materials from households and waste generators.
  • Active collaboration with importers, waste generators, and organizations responsible for recycling specific types of waste.
